Handling by Brittany ...

Brittany
Carella began showing dogs for her mother Kathy at the age of 6. The
Carella family had bred and shown Dandie Dinmont Terriers at the
time. Brittany enjoyed the challenge of working with the stubborn
mighty breed and realized that handling was becoming a great passion
for her. At the age of 12, Brittany was introduced to Junior
Showmanship. In Canada, Junior Handlers are allowed to compete with
any breed provided that it is entered on the day of the show. Taking
advantage of this rule, she branched out to learn and compete with
various breeds in all 7 Groups. In 2005, Brittany had decided to
introduce a new breed to the family and acquired her first Pharaoh
Hound- Ch. XO's Pure Energy, an import from Holland.
Brittany was incredibly successful in Junior
Showmanship. In 2008 she won the Zone 4A Regional Zone Finals with
her own bred Pharaoh Hound, Ch. Osiris Ghost Rider, and went on to
placing 4th at the Canadian Junior Handling Nationals in Montreal,
Quebec.
In 2009 Brittany had again won the Zone 4A Regional Zone Finals with
Pharaoh Hound, Osiris She's A Showgirl.
In December of 2009, Brittany had accomplished what all
Junior Handlers aspire to- winning the Canadian Junior Handling
National Finals! She had earned the title of "Top Canadian Junior
Handler" and went on to representing Canada at the World Junior
Handling Finals at Crufts in Birmingham, England in March 2010.
Brittany has handled many Pharaoh Hounds to Top Dog
status. She has handled the #1 Pharaoh Hound since 2005. She is
currently breeding and showing Canada's Top Pharaoh Hounds.
As a student becoming a Registered Nurse, Brittany
cannot fulfill a full show schedule. Attending to shows in Ontario,
Quebec and the USA- Brittany welcomes any handling requests.
Rates available upon request.
